27th Anniversary Trans-Pecos Scholarship Golf Tournament

Greetings, fellow golfers! Spring will be upon us soon and we would like to invite you to join us for some great fun, food, prizes, and golf at the 27th Anniversary Trans-Pecos SPE Scholarship Golf Tournament! Due to the popularity of the afternoon start last year, this will again this year be an afternoon round only with limited room for the first 46 Paid teams.

As always, proceeds go directly to our scholarship fund and science fair winners. Last year TPSPE funded seven ($2000 per year) scholarships to engineering students at major universities in this great state of Texas.

We thank you for your support of one of the original traditions in the Permian Basin by participating with a sponsorship and/or a golf team!

The golf tournament will be a Four Person Shamble with a team entry fee of $700 which includes:

  • Carts & green fees
  • 1st, 2nd , 3rd place gift certificates for all flights
  • Putting Contest, Closest to the pin, longest drive, and straightest drive contests
  • Pay $20 to have a Pro hit your tee shot on a par 4
  • AND….a try for a hole-in-one on a par 3 to win a 2011 Dodge 2500 Mega Cab 4x4 Diesel Pickup sponsored by All American Dodge Jeep Chrysler of Midland & Odessa.
  • AND…..The Grand Prizes will be a flat screen TV for each of the 3 flights.

Sponsorships and tournament awards will be announced after the conclusion of the tournament.

Several cookers will provide the usual great food before and during the round. Also, beverages will be available on the course at several locations.

The Grand Prizes will be randomly drawn at the conclusion of the round from the names of the entries from that day’s final registration and can be picked up near the registration table at that time.

You do not need to be present to win, but we’d like for you to be there for it and all the other awards!

Sponsorships are available from a $250 Bronze to the $1,500 Platinum. All Sponsorships will include a tee box sign and will be recognized on our sponsorship banner. Door prize and Contest sponsors are needed and will also be recognized with a tee box sign and the Scoreboard Banner.

Remember, sponsorship money goes to provide scholarships to the future engineers of the Permian Basin.

Sponsorships and Tournament Entry Fees are payable by check or credit card at Green Tree CC!

The deadline is April 5th and Entries are limited to the first 46 teams.
