The new web format replaces your monthly SPE eUpdate email and offers many convenient features.

- More selection: you can view all posts or select those of particular categories of interest
- Frequent updates: bookmark the link and check back often for the latest news.
- Headlines delivered to My Yahoo or a desktop reader: you can now get headlines on SPE topics of interest delivered to your desktop rather than by email.

Beginning in 2006, SPE will launch electronic versions of its technical journals. The online journals will include added features that will allow you to

- Retrieve papers from back issues of the journal for free through keyword searches

- Click on references to be directed to the online paper

- Participate in online discussions of journal papers

- Access a list of recent SPE conference papers on topics covered by the journal

Subscribers can continue to receive the journal through the mail and also have access the e-journals or opt to receive only the online version for the following 2006 member subscription prices.

SPE Reservoir Evaluation & Engineering - Mailed Copy and Online Access - $60; Online Only - $40

SPE Journal - Mailed Copy and Online Access - $80; Online Only - $60

To ensure uninterrupted mail delivery of your technical journal, the charge for mail delivery with online access will be reflected on your 2006 dues bill. If you would like to get the online journal only and save shelf space in your office, select this option on your dues bill by subtracting $20 from the subscription price.

In addition, SPE is launching a new electronic-only journal, SPE Projects, Facilities & Construction, to meet the needs of professionals working in the design, management, and construction of onshore and offshore facilities. SPE member subscriptions to this new online journal are $30 and can be added on your dues bill.
