24^th Annual Trans-Pecos SPE Scholarship Golf Tournament

The Trans-Pecos Section will hold its annual Scholarship Golf Tournament to raise funds from players and sponsors to enable the section to provide scholarships to local graduating students desiring to attend engineering colleges and become a part of the energy industry.

Proceeds go directly to our scholarship fund which funded ten ($2000 per year) scholarships to engineering students at major universities in this great state of Texas. Fork over some of your cash and help us keep one of the original traditions in the Permian Basin prosperous by participating with a sponsorship and/or a golf team to support this traditional event!

The golf tournament will be a Four Person Shamble with a team entry fee of $700 includes:
• Carts & green fees
• Ditty bag gifts
• Door Prizes
• Closest to the pin, longest drive, and straightest drive contests
• Pay $20 to have a Pro hit your tee shot on a par 4
• AND….a try for a hole-in-one on a par 3 to win a 2008 Dodge 2500 Mega Cab

4x4 Diesel Pickup sponsored by All American Dodge Jeep Chrysler of Midland & Odessa.

The Grand Prize once again is a set (3-PW) of custom fit Callaway irons will be raffled away at the awards presentations! Tickets will be sold during the day, so the more you buy the better chance you have to win! You do not need to be present to win if you write your name & phone number legibly on the ticket(s).

Sponsorships and tournament awards will be announced after the conclusion of the afternoon round.

Several cookers will provide the usual great food and beverages on the course in several locations.

Door prizes will be drawn before the tournament and can be picked up in a designated area during the day. You must have your ticket for the prize.

Sponsorships are available from a $250 Bronze to the $1,500 Platinum (includes a company logo on a specialty item in the ditty bag). All Sponsorships will have a tee box sign and recognized on our sponsorship banner. Door prizes, ditty bag items, and contest sponsors are needed and also will be recognized on the tee box and the Scoreboard Banner.

Remember, sponsorship money goes to provide scholarships to the future engineers of the Permian Basin. So, fill out your Sponsorship and/or Team Entry form today to insure you are part of this classic event! We look forward to seeing you on the course and your company’s very own tee box sign at Green Tree CC!

Sponsorships and Tournament Entry Fees are payable by check or credit card at Green Tree CC!

Please call to confirm your entry in the tournament before mailing checks!

The deadline is April 9th and Entries are limited to the first 64 teams (32 am & 32 pm).
