Uncle Raymond's Tool Box Announcing the release of Uncle Raymond's Tool Box Version 4.0. URTB is a free utility that you may find helpful with wireline and other oilfield activities. It contains pipe tables for tubing and casing, will calculate well bore displacements, annulus volumes, dump bailer runs, perforating gun debris, CBL arrival times, fluid weights, hydrostatic pressures, pressure gradients, sinker bar weights for surface pressure, proppant laden fluid densities, down hole gas volumes, down hole gas rates, and has a ASCII data parsing routine. I originally created URTB as ad ware in the hope of helping my Uncle Raymond drum up some business in slow times. Unfortunately, he lost his battle with cancer last year. He was one heck of a man, a good friend, and uncle. This will be the final version. His son has taken over the family business and now I've got some plugs on the web site and in the program for his business. So If you know someone who has production in the Monahans, Texas area, have them give Greg a call. You can download the software at my personal home page: Just click on the red tool box at the top of the page. Being this is going to be the last version, I would like to ask those of you who download the file to click on the e-mail hyperlink, located on the download page, and send me an e-mail before you get the file. I'm just curious as to about how many people have downloaded the software. Just send me your name and let me know your location. I think it would be fun to see where this thing goes. Don't worry, I will not share your e-mail address, name, or any other data you send. I'm not compiling a spam list. LOL. I would like to thank all those who pointed out mistakes on earlier versions and acted as my guinea pigs before I would release the utility. I hope you find URTB v 4.0 as useful as the folks in the past have. Let me know if you find any MAJOR problems and I will fix them. Otherwise, that's all folks. Enjoy. Burl Wylie
