High school seniors and college students who are pursuing a career in Petroleum Engineering or a related Engineering curriculum are encouraged to submit an application to the Society of Petroleum Engineers. We award scholarships to deserving student based an academic achievement, financial need, character, and civic involvement. These Scholarships are for one (1) year, but may be reapplied to for up to a total of four (4) years while enrolled.
The applications and references are solicited by both the Permian Basin and Trans-Pecos SPE Sections in a joint effort. Once received, the applications and references will be dispersed according to the geographical coverage by each section.
